KEY HABITS TO LIVE BETTER FOR LONGER
I have the pleasure of spending time with some pretty active, fit, and overall impressive people. As I think of this, three men come to mind:
Ian just turned 60. He works all day on cars as a window tinter, runs his own business, and trains at my gym five times a week at 3:30 pm. Ian looks 10 years younger, can squat over 130 kg, deadlift over 170 kg, do weighted chin-ups, and almost kept up with me on the ski erg the other day. 😉
Pete is 63 and my partner in tennis. He runs 25 km a week, with two of those runs being 10 km stints, has a nightly at-home weights routine, and runs circles around the court. One of his go-to moves is a big serve and rush to the net—and man, can he move. ✊
Andy is about 62 and one of our regulars at 6:30 am at the gym. He often rides his bike to the gym, even in winter. 🤯 Andy is strong, mobile, loves hiking and biking, and does more physical activity than a 20-year-old.
Ian, Pete, and Andy—you guys inspire me, and I’m working to be just like you when I grow up!

By adopting these habits, Ian, Pete, and Andy exemplify how to live a fit and active life at any age
